Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takanori Stomi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Svarta Pesten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stomi lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Horrible takedown by Stomi or perhaps it was just good defense by Pesten which made him look bad.
Pesten tries to close the distance and clinch but Stomi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stomi throws a lazy right hand but Pesten sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pesten lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stomi backs up against the cage.
Pesten tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stomi swivels and escapes.
Pesten rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stomi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Stomi shoots in looking for a takedown. Pesten tries to sprawl out of it but Stomi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pesten manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Pesten counters with a left and a right that stings Stomi.
Nice takedown defense from Stomi. No joy for Pesten on that attempt.

Stomi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pesten tries to avoid it but Stomi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pesten to the ground. Pesten escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stomi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

No joy there for Pesten, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
