Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loveridge jabs Nash right on the nose. Nash blinks but takes it well.
Nash scores with a jab to the head.
It looks like Hamlet Loveridge has been cut.
Nash misses with a hook to the body
and Loveridge counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nash thinking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nash. Loveridge does a little dance to reset his feet.
Loveridge looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Nash throws a poor cross that misses
and Loveridge counters with a series of strikes. Nash will be more careful next time no doubt.
Loveridge takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nash lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Nash feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Loveridge sprawling to the canvas! Loveridge rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nash finish him?!
Loveridge is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nash throws a shot from downtown. Loveridge moves away and avoids it.
As Nash backs off Loveridge throws a huge counter combo but Nash manages to avoid it all.
Loveridge is still on wobbly legs! Can Nash finish him?
Loveridge throws out a powerful jab.
Loveridge seems to have recovered his senses.
Nash misses with a hook
and Loveridge counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Nash misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Loveridge.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Loveridge was well out of range. Poor timing from Nash.
Nash takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Nash is rocked!
Loveridge is stalking Nash. Nash circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Loveridge, and it's lights out! Nash really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hamlet Loveridge!
