And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dzanka Greto!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Greto misses

and Loveridge decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Greto's guard.
Greto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Loveridge is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Greto parries the strikes from Loveridge easily there. Loveridge is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Greto to escape.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greto can do anything to dispel that myth.
Loveridge content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Loveridge seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Greto for as long as he can get away with.

Greto seems a little lost for a moment, as Loveridge dominates the positioning.
Greto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Loveridge has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Greto pushes Loveridge away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Loveridge gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

As Loveridge backs off Greto throws a huge counter combo but Loveridge manages to avoid it all.

Loveridge throws out a loose jab but Greto uses good head movement to avoid it.
Greto takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Greto is looking to clinch but Loveridge is avoiding it.
Dzanka Greto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Greto moves out of range of the strikes.
Greto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Loveridge throws the left hand but Greto avoids the punch easily.
Greto replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Loveridge blocks it well.

Greto moves into the clinch.
Greto with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Greto has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Loveridge avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Hamlet Loveridge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dzanka Greto.

Greto unleashes a big counter combination but Loveridge bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Loveridge, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
