Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khunbish Borjigin (ranked 72 p4p, 12 weight class) and Enzo Perez (ranked 175 p4p, 27 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Enzo Perez!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez throws a head kick that half lands.
Perez swats away the attempt to clinch by Borjigin.
Perez appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Borjigin throws a hook but Perez avoids it easily.

Borjigin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Perez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Borjigin takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The crowd cheers as Perez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Borjigin doesn't seem phased though.
Perez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Borjigin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Borjigin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Borjigin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Perez pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Borjigin back to the cage. Perez follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

A little feinted left hand from Borjigin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Borjigin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Borjigin is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Perez is looking to slow Borjigin down with leg kicks.

Borjigin throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Perez's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Borjigin dives in looking to finish as Perez flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Borjigin's strikes! Borjigin is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Perez's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Perez was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Khunbish Borjigin!
Khunbish Borjigin decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
