Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Albert Wasilkowsky!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Topper Green and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Britt rushes Wasilkowsky and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Wasilkowsky throws an elbow but misses.
Wasilkowsky lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


It looks like Eduardo Britt has been cut.

Britt ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Britt no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Britt pulls Wasilkowsky in close to prevent any damage.
Wasilkowsky would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Britt controlling the position.
Wasilkowsky must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Britt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wasilkowsky manages to get himself to full guard.

Wasilkowsky wants to get back to his feet but Britt passes into half guard.

Britt looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wasilkowsky looks like he's trying to stand up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Britt is controlling the pace.
Britt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wasilkowsky for as long as he can get away with.
Wasilkowsky wants to improve his position but Britt is controlling well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wasilkowsky trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Britt manages to pass to mount!

Britt quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Britt but it's paid off an Wasilkowsky is forced to tap! Nice work by Britt.
