The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cult feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kentas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Blue Cult seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cult scores with a hook to the body. Kenta takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cult tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kenta was well out of range. Poor timing from Cult.

and Kenta cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Blue Cult has been cut.
Cult throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cult misses with a series of wild punches.
Cult throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kenta thinks about the counter body kick.
Cult lands a slapping body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cult lunges at Kenta with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kenta's hand.

and Kenta counters with a takedown into side control.

Kenta is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cult is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Kenta should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Cult is trying to control Kenta's posture but Kenta avoids it.
Cult seems a little lost for a moment, as Kenta dominates the positioning.
Kenta in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Cult is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kenta passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Cult!
Kenta pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cult looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Cult wants to control but Kenta is having none of it.
