The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baibars feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Sanchez wants to stand and escape but Baibars is having none of it.
Baibars slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Baibars passes Sanchez's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Baibars looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Baibars tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanchez has hold of Baibars's hands but Baibars slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Baibars is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Baibars tries to pass the half guard into mount. Sanchez knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baibars seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Baibars is working for a kimura but Sanchez is defending it quite comfortably.

Baibars lands a big shot there that rocks Sanchez but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Oh Sanchez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Baibars wants to finish this one by submission but Sanchez is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Baibars.
Baibars tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Baibars! Sanchez is hurt baaadly! Baibars is firing away with more strikes - Sanchez is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
