The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A bone on bone clash there as Gracie blocks the leg kick.
Gracie looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Jabari tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Jabari.
Jabari lands a nice shot that snaps Gracie's head back.

Gracie's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jabari connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gracie scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jabari throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A nice leg kick lands there from Jabari.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jabari feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down.
Jabari slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jabari connects with a body shot that sends Gracie's belly button to the back.
Jabari's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jabari duly obliges.
Gracie throws a big shot that misses.
Jabari seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A jab lands there for Jabari.

Gracie is rocked!
Jabari fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Jabari throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.

Jabari is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jabari staggers Gracie with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Gracie looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! No! He's back down again! 9...10 - he's can't beat the count and Jabari is victorious!
