Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Denzil J Kenny (ranked 4569 p4p, 0 weight class) and Molly Manly (ranked 2184 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kenny might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way - Waylon Jennings. Denzil J Kenny is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Denzil J Kenny!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Molly Manly!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manly lands with a good body shot.
Manly slips a straight right by Kenny.
Manly throws a jab but it's blocked by Kenny.
Kenny ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Manly blocks a jab.
Manly keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kenny looks to land a left hand but Manly moved out of range nicely.
Kenny takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Manly changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kenny throws a right and a left that both miss.
Manly slips under a jab from Kenny.
Manly throws a big shot that misses.

Manly clinches up with Kenny and pushes him back against the cage.
Manly keeps control of Kenny as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Manly lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kenny backwards.
Manly lands with a left to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kenny misses with the head strike.
Manly lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Manly pulls guard successfully.
Manly is adopting a defensive guard.
Manly looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kenny stopping the sweep attempt from Manly.
Manly wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kenny has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Manly lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Manly postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Manly has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Manly lands a couple of good shots and Kenny has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Manly is continuing to stall.

The adventures of Manly the control monster continue. Boring.
Kenny is trying to break free.

Manly is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kenny is defending well though. Manly let's go of the attempt for now.
Manly biding his time, looking for the opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Kenny looks to throw the jab but Manly is out of range.
Manly jabs Kenny to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Manly has closed the distance and engaged Kenny in a clinch.
Manly lands a nice shot to the body.
Manly scores with a shot to the side of Kenny's head.
Kenny tries to stall but Manly uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Manly lands a nice uppercut.

Manly pulls guard effortlessly.
Manly has Kenny pulled in close to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manly lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Manly controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Manly forces his way into half guard.
Manly controlling the action here.
Kenny is in trouble now - Manly has advanced to mount!
Manly controlling the pace for now.
Manly punishing his opponent with strikes.

Manly takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Manly working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Manly looking for a guillotine from mount but Kenny is having none of it.

Manly jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kenny manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Manly remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Kenny is looking for a sweep.
Manly moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Manly landing strikes.
Manly connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kenny some visible discomfort.
A lull in the action here as Manly stalls from top position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Manly scoring with punches and elbows.

Molly Manly showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Manly ducks under a wild hook from Kenny.
Kenny throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Manly blocks a jab.
Manly cracks a nice hook into Kenny's ribs.

Manly moves into the clinch.
Manly lands a hook that snaps the head of Kenny backwards.
Manly lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
A right hook to the body lands for Manly.
Manly is leaning against Kenny and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Manly pushes Kenny back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Kenny's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Manly scores with a shot to the side of Kenny's head.
Manly lands with a short shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Manly lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kenny backwards.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Manly lands a hook to the side of the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Manly.
Manly throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Manly throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kennys head.

Manly gets through Kenny's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Manly pushes Kenny back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Manly lands a hook that snaps the head of Kenny backwards.
Manly makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Manly scores with a shoulder strike.
Manly softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Manly lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Manly cracks Kenny with a nice body shot.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Manly.
Manly lands with a short shot to the head.


Kenny is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kenny takes a shot to the head.
Oh Kenny is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manly lands a big right hand that drops Kenny! The killer instinct kicks in and Manly finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Manly!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Molly Manly!
In his post fight interview, Molly Manly started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Denzil J Kenny was interviewed post fight and said 'I wanna apologize to coach, my daddy, my brothers, Denzil, Denzil Jr, Denzil the third, and most importantly, my dog Pinky. I'm gonna drink the pain away, see y'all later at the bar.'.
