Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blue Cult (ranked 3703 p4p, 0 weight class) and Triple Rrr (ranked 3050 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Blue Cult!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Triple Rrr!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rrr takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rrr decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Rrr is trying to work for a kimura but Cult is defending well.
Rrr content to control rather than advance.
Cult gets back to full guard.
Cult looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cult had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rrr defends it easily.
My spies in Endgame Combat inform me that Rrr has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Cult has his foot on Rrr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rrr works his way back into a safe position though.
Rrr controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Rrr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cult swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cult escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rrr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Rrr pushes down on Cult's leg and manages to get into half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Cult wants to improve his position but Rrr is controlling well.

Cult is trying to escape the mount.
Cult tries to lock up and control but Rrr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Rrr jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Cult manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Cult manages to work his way to half guard, despite Rrr's best efforts.
Rrr seems to be looking for submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rrr is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cult is just riding it out for now. Rrr eventually gives up the hold.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rrr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rrr lands in his opponent's guard.
Rrr is pushing down on Cult's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cult is fighting to maintain full guard but Rrr has managed to sneak the leg through.

Cult will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Cult definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Rrr goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Cult escapes and is now in half guard on top.

Cult is working for a kimura but Rrr is defending it quite comfortably.
Cult wants to pass to mount but Rrr is defending the position.
Rrr wants to sweep but Cult has passed to side control!

Triple Rrr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Cult lands a really nice looking cross but Rrr seems unphased.

Rrr moves into full mount! Cult won't be happy about that!

I've got Rrr winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
