PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Llewellyn (ranked 6190 p4p, 0 weight class) and Django Freeman (ranked 4668 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Grinding all my life kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Matt Llewellyn has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Llewellyn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Freeman but Freeman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Llewellyn looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Freeman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Freeman lands a head kick. Llewellyn smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Llewellyn fails with the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Llewellyn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Freeman avoids it really well and circles away.
Freeman looks to land a left hand but Llewellyn moved out of range nicely.
Llewellyn shoots in for a takedown but Freeman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Freeman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Llewellyn.

Matt Llewellyn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Llewellyn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Llewellyn tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Freeman swivels and escapes.

Freeman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Freeman lands a nice hook to Llewellyn's body. Llewellyn takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Oh Llewellyn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Freeman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Freeman scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Llewellyn wants to stay close but Freeman steps back to make room for something. Llewellyn seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Freeman and Llewellyn drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Django Freeman!
A very excited looking Django Freeman rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
