Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Muhamad Fatih (ranked 4086 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cali Carter (ranked 5070 p4p, 238 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Carter is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Fatih looking to control.

Carter gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Fatih shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Carter tries to kick Fatih off in order to stand up. Fatih Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fatih tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fatih has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Carter wants to control but Fatih postures up.

Fatih thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Fatih wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Carter, who protects the arm well.
Carter tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Fatih is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Carter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Carter is squirming around, avoiding Fatih's attempts to control the action.

Fatih with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Fatih has hold of Carter's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Carter manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Carter is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Fatih locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Carter is forced to tap!
