The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diagnozio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Leicester pinned against the cage. Leicester gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Leicester works the jab nicely.
Leicester bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diagnozio's head backwards.
Leicester lands a jab.
Leicester scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Diagnozio misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diagnozio fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Diagnozio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Leicester lands with a nice combination. Diagnozio backs away looking to recover.
Diagnozio is rocked!
Leicester drops Diagnozio with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Diagnozio looks back up at him and smiles so Leicester waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Diagnozio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crack! Leicester connects with the perfect overhand right and Diagnozio falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Leicester!

In his post fight interview, Christian Leicester started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
