Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Haley (ranked 4663 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tian Zhixuan (ranked 3329 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haley swinging wildly here.
Zhixuan swings for the body but Haley moves out of range.
As Zhixuan looks to move away, Haley throws a big counter combo but Zhixuan just gets out of the way.

and Zhixuan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Haley wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Haley is trying to pull guard but Zhixuan has him pressed against the cage.
Zhixuan lands with a short shot to the head.
Haley is looking to control Zhixuan's arms but Zhixuan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Haley has his back to the cage.

Zhixuan keeps control of Haley as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zhixuan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zhixuan creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Haley with a big uppercut! Haley tries to clinch up but Zhixuan pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Haley to the mat! Haley covers up and Zhixuan unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
