The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brielle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Randall paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Randall closes the distance and clinches up with Brielle, looking for a takedown. Randall pushes Brielle against the cage but Brielle circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Brielle shoots in and drives through. Randall sprawls well.
Randall tries to counter with a takedown but Brielle is quick to defend against it.
Randall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brielle's waist but Brielle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Randall off to one side.
Randall shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brielle sprawls well. Brielle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Randall gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubba Randall. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Randall manages to reverse the position and now he's in Brielle's guard. Nice work there by Randall.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Randall gets to his feet and stands over Brielle, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Brielle felt that one! Randall unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Brielle from any more punishment!
