The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Botashev decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Morissette manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Botashev keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Botashev gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Botashev keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Morissette's head.
Botashev prevents Morissette from getting back to his feet.
Botashev distracts Morissette with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Morissette is rocked!

Botashev lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Oh Morissette is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Botashev arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Morissette's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
