The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts shoots in looking for a takedown. KO tries to sprawl out of it but Roberts keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. KO manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
OH KO seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roberts looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
KO tries to bum rush Roberts with a series of wild strikes but Roberts uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
KO fails to land with a series of punches.
KO misses with a double jab.
Roberts has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Timmy Roberts has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

KO dances in with a quick combination. Roberts is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from KO snaps Roberts's head back. Roberts stumbles backwards against the cage. KO steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Roberts's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Roberts just didn't come prepared.
