PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Garth (ranked 3009 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Cult (ranked 4176 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Blue Cult was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garth uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cult.
Garth misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Cult makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Cult uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Garth.
Garth could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cult ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Cult moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Garth is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cult.
It seemed like Cult was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cult feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Garths jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Blue Cult seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Cult does it's job there.

Garth is rocked!
Garth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Garth throws a series of punches but Cult moves out of range.
Cult is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Garth flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Garth is out cold! Cult holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
