Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Almedin Hafizovic (ranked 24496 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lincoln Morissette (ranked 3089 p4p, 0 weight class). Almedin Hafizovic looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morissette looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morissette throws a combination that misses
and Hafizovic counters with a two punch combo.
Morissette swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hafizovic cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Morissette misses with a few strikes there.
Hafizovic lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Morissette looks winded!
Hafizovic looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hafizovic avoids a punch combination nicely.
Morissette misses with a series of wild punches.
Morissette fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hafizovic shoots in for a takedown but Morissette shows good takedown defense.
Hafizovic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Morissette paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hafizovic lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Hafizovic. Morissette shrugs it off though.
Hafizovic shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morissette as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Almedin Hafizovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morissette throws a nice looking combination but Hafizovic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Morissette misses with a double jab
and Hafizovic counters with a head kick.

Hafizovic drives through and clinches with Morissette against the cage.
Morissette is looking to break free of the clinch but Hafizovic has double underhooks.
Morissette is trying to push Hafizovic away but Hafizovic has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Hafizovic manages to break the clinch.
Hafizovic shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Morissette eats them both and turns towards Hafizovic to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Morissette is rocked!
Hafizovic closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Morissette! Hafizovic dives in looking to finish! Morissette is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
