The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durara moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Ramirez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ramirez tries to land knees in the clinch but Durara avoids the damage to the body.

Ramirez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Durara enables Ramirez to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Durara manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Durara is keen to just control but Ramirez is a slippery customer.
Ramirez has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Durara is working away from the top position though.

Ramirez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Durara doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Durara manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Durara is pushing down on Ramirez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ramirez is fighting to maintain full guard but Durara has managed to sneak the leg through.

Durara seems to be looking for submissions.

Durara has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ramirez can't escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Durara wants to take his opponent's back but Ramirez doesn't allow it.

Durara is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ramirez is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ramirez flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Durara anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ramirez and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Durara slips an arm under Ramirez chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Durara has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Durara is squeezing on Ramirez like an anaconda would it's prey. Ramirez fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
