Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matuul dives in and scores a takedown into Gilmore's guard.
Matuul's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Gilmore tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gilmore thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Gilmore looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Matuul puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Matuul decides to stand and escape the position.
Sul Matuul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matuul looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Gilmore!
Gilmore is looking for a sweep.
Gilmore is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Matuul asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Gilmore seems a little lost for a moment, as Matuul dominates the positioning.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Matuul wants to stand but Gilmore is controlling his arm.
Matuul has an Americana. Gilmore didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Matuul is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Matuul hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
