The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wynn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wynn lands in his opponent's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Dzhamshan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wynn really is a fat lump.
Dzhamshan is adopting a defensive guard.
Wynn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dzhamshan has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wynn is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dzhamshan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wynn looks up at the clock and then as Dzhamshan takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Wynn smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dzhamshan tries to improve position but can't.
Wynn is putting a hurting on Dzhamshan here, landing some big shots from side control.
