And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoner uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stolgichenko.
And Stoner tries to counter it with a takedown but Stolgichenko pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Stoner looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Stolgichenko!
Stoner trying to control the position but Stolgichenko is working away.
Stoner working the ground and pound but Stolgichenko is defending the strikes.

Stoner cracks Stolgichenko with a big elbow.
Stoner lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Stolgichenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stoner on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stoner postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Stoner working his ground and pound in the gym.
Stolgichenko is breathing heavily.

Stoner cracks Stolgichenko with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Stoner immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Stolgichenko is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Stoner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jaxon Stoner!
