PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ariel Schroder (ranked 2103 p4p, 131 weight class) and Xix Zyx (ranked 7289 p4p, 280 weight class). Zyx has chosen Welcome to Hell as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ariel Schroder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Xix Zyx!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zyx on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Zyx shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Schroder.
Schroder lands with a hook. Zyx tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Schroder rushes Zyx and presses him up against the cage.
Zyx is looking to take this one to the mat.
Zyx is working for takedown but Schroder is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ariel Schroder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xix Zyx.

Zyx wants the takedown. Schroder is fighting it off but Zyx persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Schroder's guard against the cage.
Schroder pulls Zyx in close to prevent any damage.
Zyx trying to control but Schroder is working from the bottom.
Zyx not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Zyx has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Schroder to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Zyx is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Schroder pulls down on the head and he's put Zyx to sleep! This one is all over!
