The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mung displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gunther.
Mung cracks Gunther with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

It looks like Bob Gunther has been cut.
Gunther tries for a takedown but Mung sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mung shoots in for a double leg but Gunther sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gunther thinks about countering with a head kick.
Mung goes for a double leg but Gunther avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gunther continues to drive forward.

Gunther gets caught napping as Mung dives in and scores a takedown. Gunther manages to retain guard.

Gunther uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Mung fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gunther to the ground. Mung is now in Gunther's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Gunther throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mung escapes and throws Gunther's legs to the side, diving into side control!
You can see the frustration on Gunther's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Mung slows the pace down.

Mung swings around for an armbar but Gunther sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Mung's guard.
Mung lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Mung postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Jeez, Bob Gunther's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bob Gunther's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
