Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Earl Mckee (ranked 24380 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cosmo Hines (ranked 4592 p4p, 454 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, Earl Mckee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cosmo Hines!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hines tries to clinch but Mckee moves out of range.
Hines tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mckee paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mckee takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hines scores with a sloppy right hand. Mckee should have avoided that one.
Hines misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mckee takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Mckee gets caught flat footed, as Hines shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mckee wants to stand up but Hines is controlling him.

Mckee manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Mckee really is a fat lump.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mckee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mckee pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mckee tries to keep at a distance but Hines has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mckee missing with knees to the body.

A short right from Hines on the inside.

Hines decides to pull guard.
Hines wants to stand and escape but Mckee is having none of it.

Mckee drops back looking for a leg! Hines is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hines manages to kick Mckee off! Mckee jumps back into Hines's guard.
Mckee wants to pass the guard but Hines is keeping the position.
Hines is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mckee is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mckee stands and steps away. Hines gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Hines takes a swing at Mckee's ribcage but misses.
Hines lands a body shot.
Mckee tries to close the distance and clinch but Hines swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hines scores with a one two! Mckee had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
A head kick by Mckee misses
and Hines counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hines swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Mckee moves into the clinch.
Mckee managing to block the knees to the body from Hines.
Mckee is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hines is keeping busy.
Hines blocks a body shot from Mckee.
Hines misses with an elbow strike.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mckee tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Hines on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Mckee misses with the head strike.
Hines lands a left hand.

Hines breaks from the clinch.
Hines looks to land a combination but Mckee avoids it well.
Mckee gets off balance looking for a body kick
enabling Hines to counter with a crisp jab.
Mckee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hines is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Hines scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Mckee explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hines lands with a nice body punch.
Mckee throws a head kick but Hines moves out of range.
Mckee shoots in but Hines avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mckee ducks right into an uppercut from Hines.
Hines wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Hines turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Hines is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mckee's half guard.
Mckee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mckee wants to get back to full guard.

Mckee has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hines is on him like a limpet, forcing Mckee back against the cage.

Hines's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hines throws a right and a left that Mckee avoids nicely.
Mckee tries to counter by clinching up but Hines breaks away and moves out of range.
Mckee throws a sloppy head kick and Hines moves out of range easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cosmo Hines dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Mckee is looking to land body kicks.
Hines throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cosmo Hines seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hines scores with a hook.
Hines throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Mckee moves out of range of the body kick.
Hines stuns Mckee with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hines has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hines cracks Mckee with a good jab.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hines tries to close the distance and clinch but Mckee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hines scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Hines drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mckee is looking for a sweep.

Hines decides to stand back up. Hines steps back and let's Mckee get back to his feet.
Hines lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mckee backs up against the cage.
Mckee tries a head kick but it misses.
Mckee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hines drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mckee defends it well.

Hines has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Hines looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Hines feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Mckees jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hines throws a head kick but Mckee moves out of range.
Mckee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hines misses with a series of wild punches.
Mckee throws a big counter combination but Hines scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Hines is breathing heavily.
Mckee on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
A head kick misses from Mckee.
Hines is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Hines lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Hines drives through with a takedown into Mckee's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Mckee wants to stand and escape but Hines is having none of it.

Hines decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Mckee, up you get!

Mckee scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Mckee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mckee tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hines defends well and Mckee ends up having to push Hines into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Cosmo Hines seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Mckee looks to score with a jab to the body but Hines is just out of range.
Hines misses with a head kick.

Mckee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hines manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Mckee walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cosmo Hines showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Hines comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Hines throws a nice looking combination but Mckee bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mckee throws a head kick but Hines moves out of range.

Mckee fails with a takedown attempt.
A little jabbing left from Hines on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mckee has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hines.

Mckee moves forwards but Hines connects with a nice, crisp jab.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hines enables Mckee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hines manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mckee prevents Hines from getting back to his feet.

Hines is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Hines pulls guard successfully.
Hines really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mckee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hines wants to get back to his feet but Mckee is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mckee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Earl Mckee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Cosmo Hines is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Cosmo Hines comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hines winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
