Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hassan Msuva (ranked 3080 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Stark (ranked 2855 p4p, 0 weight class). Hassan Msuva looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Msuva tries a head kick but it misses.
Stark looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
It looked like Msuva was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Msuva throws a sloppy head kick and Stark moves out of range easily.
Stark changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

and Stark cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stark delivers a nice body kick.
Stark showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Msuva.
Stark lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Msuva throws a head kick that misses.
Stark cracks the inside of Msuva's front leg.
Msuva walks into a straight right hand from Stark.
Msuva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Stark counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stark breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Stark delivers a nice body kick.
Stark tries a head kick but it misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stark, as that shot connected.
Stark thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Msuva if he has to take too many more of those.
Msuva throws a sloppy head kick and Stark moves out of range easily.
Hassan Msuva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stark throws a head kick that half lands.
Stark throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
A jab from Stark does it's job there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
That kick from Stark tenderised Msuva's leg. Msuva is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Stark moves into the clinch.

Stark has Msuva pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Stark pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Msuva tumbling to the mat - Stark dives into Msuva's guard.
Msuva wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Stark manages to pass to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stark has an Americana. Msuva didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Stark is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Stark hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
