The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonheim avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Wonheim clinches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Wonheim.
Wonheim lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Wonheim breaks the clinch.

Wonheim closes the distance and clinches.
Come on Wonheim - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Kane's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Wonheim pushes Kane up against the ropes in a clinch.
Wonheim scores with a shot to the side of Kane's head.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Wonheim takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Kane struggles to land a body shot inside as Wonheim controls his hands.

The referee calls for Wonheim to work.
Kane is looking to break free of the clinch but Wonheim has double underhooks.
The referee calls for Wonheim to work.
Kane is trying to push Wonheim away but Wonheim has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Joshua Wonheim.
Kane bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wonheim's head.

Wonheim closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.

Kane is trying to break free.
Wonheim dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes.
Wonheim lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Wonheim scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kane misses with a punch to the body.
Wonheim stalling against the ropes.
Wonheim is struggling to control the position.
Wonheim cracks Kane with a nice body shot.
Wonheim stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joshua Wonheim dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Wonheim throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kane throws a sloppy head kick and Wonheim moves out of range easily.
Will Kane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Wonheim closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Wonheim lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Wonheim manages to break the clinch.

Wonheim drives through and clinches with Kane against the ropes.
Wonheim makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Wonheim lands with a left to the head.
Wonheim stalling the fight.

Wonheim breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wonheim drives through and clinches with Kane against the ropes.
A battle for position here, against the ropes.
Wonheim lands a shoulder strike.
Kane wants to break free but Wonheim has control.
Wonheim is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kane can do to turn this around?

Wonheim blocks the elbow strike.

Wonheim escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wonheim circles away from the clinch attempt.

Wonheim moves into range and clinches up with Kane.
Kane wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Wonheim has him pressed against the ropes.
Wonheim softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Wonheim stalls.
Wonheim throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kanes head.


Kane is rocked!
Kane tries to circle away but Wonheim has him pinned against the ropes.
Kane tries to break free but Wonheim pushes him back against the ropes.
Wonheim working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Kane is still on wobbly legs! Can Wonheim finish him?

Wonheim escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wonheim misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wonheim cracks Kane with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
