With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Jones!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cormier.
No luck for Cormier with that takedown attempt.

Jones closes the distance and pushes Cormier back into the cage.

Jones tightens his grip and picks Cormier up, before dumping him to the ground. Cormier manages to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jones in particular looking to stall.
Cormier is not content to let Jones control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cormier is looking for a sweep. Jones is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cormier is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cormier avoid being mounted?
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Cormier closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.
Danny Cormier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Jack Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Cormier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Cormier has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Cormier turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Cormier wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.

Cormier swings around for an armbar but Jones sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Cormier's guard.

Jones is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Jones seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Cormier is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Jones wants to pass the guard but Cormier is keeping the position.
Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Jones is looking to stand up but Cormier won't let him.

Danny Cormier has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jack Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Jones postures up and lands a big shot to Cormier's brow.

Jack Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
