The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neffgen gets a clinch.
Limmerick is trying to force a seperation but Neffgen has the dominant position.

Neffgen manages to break the clinch.

Neffgen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Limmerick, pushing him back against the cage.

Limmerick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Neffgen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Limmerick paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Limmerick tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Neffgen manages to circle out of the way.
Neffgen tries to clinch but Limmerick moves out of range.
Neffgen tries to clinch up.
Limmerick was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Neffgen moves into range and clinches up with Limmerick.
Come on Neffgen - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Neffgen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Limmerick has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Limmerick manages to break the clinch.
Neffgen looks to land a combination but Limmerick avoids it well.
A little feinted left hand from Limmerick on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Neffgen is looking to clinch but Limmerick is avoiding it.
An attempted straight right counter from Limmerick misses the target.

Neffgen wants to clinch up but Limmerick keeps it at a distance.

Neffgen darts in and clinches Limmerick up against the cage.
Neffgen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Limmerick lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Neffgen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick misses from Neffgen.
Limmerick swats away the attempt to clinch by Neffgen.
Neffgen tries to clinch up
and Limmerick counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice shot lands for Limmerick.
Neffgen wants to clinch
and Limmerick counters with a straight right hand.
Neffgen throws a head kick that misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Limmerick misses the target.

Neffgen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The fight stays on the outside here - Neffgen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Limmerick drops Neffgen with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Neffgen! Limmerick dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
