Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Morissette (ranked 25044 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Lyons (ranked 2255 p4p, 249 weight class). Lee Lyons is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lyons fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Lyons feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Morissette has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lyons off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Lyons is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lyons goes for a double leg but Morissette avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Morissette continues to drive forward.
Lyons shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Morissette defends it nicely.
Lincoln Morissette has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Lyons.
Lyons misses with a takedown attempt - Morissette sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Morissette looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Morissette throws a right hand that Lyons ducks under and follows up with a left that Lyons also avoids with ease.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lyons scores with a couple of short elbows.
Morissette is trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morissette trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Lyons scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Morissette is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Lyons can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Lee Lyons spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
