And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dennis Baba!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Topper Green and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baba misses with a looping left.
Banks closes the distance looking to clinch
and Baba cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Banks darts in trying to clinch
and Baba counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Banks shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Baba defends it nicely.
Baba is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Banks with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Banks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Baba counters with a nice uppercut.
Banks tries a head kick but it misses.

Baba lands a left and a right that send Banks crashing to the mat, dazed. Baba thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Banks is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Banks takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Oh Banks is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Banks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Banks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Travis Banks. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Banks moves into the clinch successfully.
Banks seems to have got his legs back now.
Baba lands with a short shot to the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Baba.
Baba scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Banks has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Baba avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Banks is breathing heavily.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Baba lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Banks backwards.
Baba digs a right hand underneath Banks's ribcage. Banks let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Baba gets underhooks to prevent Banks's takedown attempt.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Baba.
Nice body punch from Baba.
Baba lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baba's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A head kick by Banks misses

and Baba counters with a nice right hand that sends Banks toppling to the canvas! Banks scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Baba finish him?!
Baba connects with a superb combination that knocks Banks out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Baba before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Banks!
