Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ervin Walker (ranked 25020 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Tucker (ranked 2795 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ervin Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker wants to clinch up but Walker keeps it at a distance.
Tucker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Walker eats them both and turns towards Tucker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Tucker blocks a head kick by Walker.
Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Despite the aggression on Tucker's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Tucker rushes Walker and presses him up against the cage.
Tucker prevents the takedown attempt.

Walker breaks from the clinch.
Walker throws a half hearted mid kick.
Tucker throws a head kick that misses.
As Tucker looks to move away, Walker throws a big counter combo but Tucker just gets out of the way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tucker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walker swivels and escapes.
Walker lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

As Walker backs off Tucker throws a huge counter combo but Walker manages to avoid it all.

Walker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tucker.

Tucker on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Tucker tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Walker just stands there and leans against the cage.
Tucker is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Walker really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tucker crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Walker - the referee stops the clock and Tucker gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Walker. Tucker manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Tucker shoots for a double leg takedown but Walker sprawls well. He's pushed Tucker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
