The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine misses with a takedown
and Gomez counters with a nice body shot.
Gomez scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Gomez connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Machine's hands.
Machine wants to clinch but Gomez slips to the side
and Gomez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Machine is rocked!
Gomez lands with a shot to the body.
Oh Machine is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gomez finds Machine's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Machine flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Gomez lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Machine will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Torry Gomez!
