The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davis closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lemieux did well to prevent Davis getting side control.

Davis seems to be looking for submissions.

Lemieux cracks Davis with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Lemieux lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lemieux throws a jab when Davis was well out of range.
Davis is looking to counter punch.

Lemieux lands a big uppercut and Davis crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Davis looks OK. Lemieux waves Davis back to his feet!

Davis is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Lemieux darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Davis's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Lemieux before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Martin Lemieux!
Martin Lemieux decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
