The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marin looks for the body kick but Petrov saw that one coming.
Petrov jabs Marin to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Marin walks into a straight right hand from Petrov.
Petrov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Marin counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Marin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Petrov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Petrov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Petrov misses with an uppercut. Marin saw that one coming.
Petrov throws a lazy right hand but Marin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Marin ducks under a wild hook from Petrov.
Petrov looks to throw the jab but Marin is out of range.
Marin fires out a quick counter leg kick but Petrov just manages to avoid it.
Petrov misses with an uppercut. Marin saw that one coming.
A head kick misses from Marin.
Jab, jab by Petrov - just one landing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marin throws a leg kick but Petrov sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Petrov scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Marin with a poor takedown
and Petrov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Marin throws a wild hook but Petrov just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Marin gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Petrov raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
