Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silas Case (ranked 4825 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Fixit (ranked 3204 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fixit shoots in looking for a takedown. Case tries to sprawl out of it but Fixit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Case manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Case changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fixit tries to avoid it but Case manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fixit to the ground. Fixit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Fixit shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fixit showed some decent athleticism there.
Fixit sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Case defending well though.
Case wants to get back to his feet.

Case is pressing down on Fixit's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Case manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fixit manages to get himself to full guard.
Fixit is controlling Case's posture.

Case postures up in Fixit's guard and throws a big left but Fixit blocks it.
Case wants to stand but Fixit has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Case gets to his feet. Fixit looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Fixit decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Fixit perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Case is looking to improve his position.
Case looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Case tries to kick Fixit off but Fixit keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Case looking for submissions off his back.
Nice strikes from Fixit there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fixit working the head and body with strikes.
Case is breathing heavily.
Fixit scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fixit in particular looking to stall.
Fixit blocks the strikes from Case.
Fixit working over Case with some ground and pound. Case looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Fixit lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Case quite badly. Case pulls Fixit in close trying to recover. Fixit postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Case on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Case doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim Fixit!
In his post fight interview, Jim Fixit started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
