The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beasley tries to sprawl but Giguere drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Beasley tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Giguere manages to move to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Beasley is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Beasley is desperately trying to improve his position but Giguere has a good base and remains in mount.
Beasley is trying to stand.
Beasley is squirming around, avoiding Giguere's attempts to control the action.
Giguere pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Giguere looking to secure an arm triangle but Beasley defends it well.
Beasley is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Giguere is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Giguere cracks Beasley with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beasley in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Giguere with the ground and pound from mount.

Beasley can't escape the position.
Beasley manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Giguere is trying to work for a kimura but Beasley is defending well.
Beasley is trying to stand up here but Giguere is controlling him well.
Giguere stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Devon Giguere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice leg kick lands there from Giguere.
Giguere throws a sloppy head kick and Beasley moves out of range easily.
A thudding body kick lands there by Giguere!
Giguere shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Beasley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Beasley being controlled here, momentarily.
Giguere tries to free his leg and advance position but Beasley is retaining full guard.
Beasley is looking to stand up but Giguere isn't so interested in that idea.
Beasley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Giguere can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Giguere missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Beasley kicks Giguere off and gets to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Giguere closes this distance looking for a takedown but Beasley circles away.
Beasley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Giguere manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Beasley on his heels. He'll look to pass Beasley's guard now, I'm sure.
Beasley is trying to push Giguere off with his feet but Giguere grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Beasley's ankles and Beasley is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!
