Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimi Powell (ranked 1404 p4p, 67 weight class) and Bo Teebs (ranked 2285 p4p, 28 weight class). Powell comes into the arena with 8 Mile blaring out of the sound system. Teebs has chosen Ghost - Square Hammer as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bo Teebs!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teebs scores with a shot to the body.
Teebs bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Teebs walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Powell throws a jab but it's blocked by Teebs.
Powell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Teebs sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Powell throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Teebs steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Powell.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circle momentarily. Teebs darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Powell scores with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Powell tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Teebs jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Powell appears to be looking for a big counter.
Teebs misses with an uppercut. Powell saw that one coming.
Teebs pushes Powell up against the cage in a clinch.
Powell gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Teebs regains guard.
Teebs is wriggling around but Powell manages to pass to half guard.
Powell stops Teebs from getting back to his feet.
Teebs avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Powell.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Powell working over Teebs with some ground and pound. Teebs looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Teebs is rocked!
Powell scores with a big shot! Teebs's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Teebs! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimi Powell!
After winning the bout, Jimi Powell thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
