Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Percival Pacaldo (ranked 4643 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Penn (ranked 3011 p4p, 0 weight class). Pacaldo comes to the cage accompanied by Salamin by Slapshock. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Percival Pacaldo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Penn!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacaldo circles away from the clinch attempt.
It looked like Pacaldo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Penn tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pacaldo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pacaldo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Penn tries to clinch but Pacaldo moves out of range.
Pacaldo appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Penn shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Penn is looking to clinch but Pacaldo is avoiding it.
Pacaldo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Penn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pacaldo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pacaldo was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Penn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pacaldo lands a big head kick that sends Penn tumbling to the mat! Pacaldo takes a step backwards and waves Penn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Penn is rocked!
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Penn wants to clinch.
A little feinted left hand from Pacaldo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Penn is still on wobbly legs! Can Pacaldo finish him?
Penn takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pacaldo lands a big uppercut and Penn crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Penn looks OK. Pacaldo waves Penn back to his feet!
BAM! Pacaldo delivers a spinning backfist that drops Penn like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Percival Pacaldo!
Percival Pacaldo seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
