Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Earl Fonalleda (ranked 5203 p4p, 490 weight class) and Marco Soprano (ranked 3974 p4p, 421 weight class). Marco Soprano will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Earl Fonalleda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marco Soprano!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fonalleda shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And Soprano tries to counter it with a takedown but Fonalleda pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Soprano moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Soprano scores with a three punch combo!
Soprano fails with an attempt to clinch.
Soprano misses with a few strikes there.
Soprano bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fonalleda's head.
Soprano wants to clinch up but Fonalleda keeps it at a distance.
Soprano lands with a kick to the ribs.
Soprano stuffs the takedown.
Fonalleda tries to land a front kick but Soprano steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Soprano looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fonalleda accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Fonalleda bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Soprano's guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fonalleda is taking a breather. Soprano says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Fonalleda is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Soprano to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

I've got Soprano winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
