The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson fails with the takedown
and Chase counters with a head kick. That will keep Simpson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Simpson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Chase manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Chase is looking to stand up but Simpson isn't so interested in that idea.
Simpson stands and throws Chase's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Simpson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Chase seems a little lost for a moment, as Simpson dominates the positioning.
Simpson tries to move to mount but Chase blocks the move with his legs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chase is pushing Simpson's head away, looking to escape. Simpson manages to hold on to the position though.

Simpson tries for a kimura but Chase is defending well.
Simpson advances nicely into full mount.

Simpson wants to take Chase's back but he can't do it this time.
Chase really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Simpson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chase is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Simpson has taken his back.

Chase won't enjoy being in this position. Simpson looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Chase is tapping - it's over boys! Simpson picks up the submission victory!
