The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Richards has taken the fight to the clinch.

Richards throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Richards tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gloss manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Richards has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Gloss is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Richards looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gloss throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gloss manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

and Gloss counters with a straight right hand.

I would just about give that final round to Bob Gloss.
I think Richards has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
