Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sergi Artisan (ranked 6578 p4p, 532 weight class) and William Lati (ranked 6127 p4p, 521 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that William Lati was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lati throws a body punch but Artisan moves out of range.
Artisan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It looked like Artisan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Lati avoids a punch combination nicely.
Artisan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Lati misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Artisan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Artisan keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lati cracks a nice hook into Artisan's ribs.
Lati thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lati throws a nice looking combination but Artisan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lati tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Artisan was well out of range. Poor timing from Lati.
Lati throws an off balance right hand
and Artisan counters with a straight right hand.
Lati lands a right hook to the body.
Artisan is breathing heavily.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lati is looking to break free of the clinch but Artisan has double underhooks.
Lati working hard to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lati can't break the clinch.
Lati tries to circle away but Artisan has him pinned against the cage.

Lati's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lati throws a left and a right that both miss
and Artisan counters with a nice uppercut.
A big right from Lati misses.
Lati misses with a hook. Artisan ducked under it nicely.
Lati throws out a loose jab but Artisan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Artisan on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Sergi Artisan has been cut.
Artisan leaves Lati with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Lati lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Artisan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lati.
Lati lands a jab to Artisan's midsection.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lati shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Artisan sprawls well. Artisan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lati gets slowly back to his feet.
Lati throws a hook to the side of Artisan's head but Artisan sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Artisan moves away from the strike by Lati.
Artisan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Lati fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Artisan throws a wild hook but Lati just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Artisan gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Lati raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
