The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black misses with a takedown
and Black takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Holt tries to close the distance and clinch but Black swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Black shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Holt defends it nicely.
Holt drops down looking for a counter takedown but Black sprawls and moves away.
Black dives in and grabs Holt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Holt pushes down on Black's head and hops out.

Black tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Holt swivels and escapes.

Black shoots for a double leg takedown but Holt sprawls well. He's pushed Black's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Holt rushes Black and presses him up against the cage.
Black has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Holt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Holt goes for a takedown in the clinch but Black prevents it.

Holt wants to improve his position but instead Black has moved into half guard.

Holt is looking to get back to full guard here but Black has managed to pass to side control instead.

That was a close second round but I would say that Seymour Holt will probably get the nod.

Well Black has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
