PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Uri Gellar (ranked 2137 p4p, 248 weight class) and Jorginho Marcelo (ranked 1445 p4p, 177 weight class). Gellar comes to the cage accompanied by James Randi exposes Uri Geller. On his way into the cage it seems that Uri Gellar has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Uri Gellar seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcelo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gellar as he avoids it easily.
Marcelo misses with a body shot
and Gellar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Marcelo.
Gellar lands a nice hook to Marcelo's body. Marcelo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Gellar drives through and clinches with Marcelo against the cage.
Gellar lands with a light punch inside.
Gellar scores with a shot to the side of Marcelo's head.

It looks like Jorginho Marcelo has been cut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gellar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Gellar.
Gellar lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marcelo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gellar gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Uri Gellar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorginho Marcelo.
Gellar lands on the inside with an uppercut.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Gellar creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A relieved looking Uri Gellar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
