Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jericho Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pawel Rybicki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jericho Foreman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pawel Rybicki!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman tries to work over Rybicki's front leg with a kick but Rybicki checks it.
Foreman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Foreman connects with a solid leg kick.
Rybicki blocks a low kick nicely.
Rybicki blocks a low kick nicely.
Foreman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rybicki ducks under a wild hook from Foreman.
Rybicki takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Foreman looks for the body kick but Rybicki saw that one coming.
A swing and a miss from Foreman.
A solid leg kick lands there for Foreman.
Rybicki shoots in but Foreman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Rybicki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rybicki blocks a low kick nicely.
Foreman looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Foreman misses with a head kick.
Foreman blocks a head kick by Rybicki.
Foreman throws a right and a left that Rybicki avoids nicely.

Foreman finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Rybicki throws a series of strikes that have Foreman backpedaling.
Foreman is breathing heavily.

Rybicki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Foreman to the mat! Foreman manages to get full guard.
Rybicki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foreman blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rybicki.
Rybicki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Rybicki slips a nice elbow through Foreman's hands, connecting with Foreman's forehead.

Foreman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Foreman wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Rybicki breaks the clinch.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rybicki!
Foreman stuns Rybicki with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Good leg kick by Foreman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rybicki lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Rybicki has taken the fight to the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rybicki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rybicki throws a series of punches but Foreman avoids them all with ease.
Foreman tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Foreman looks to land a left hand but Rybicki moved out of range nicely.

Rybicki shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Foreman blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rybicki.

Rybicki sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Foreman defending well though.
Foreman wants to get back to his feet.
Rybicki throwing shots but Foreman is blocking nicely.

Rybicki wants to work for an arm triangle but Foreman is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Foreman pushes Rybicki off looking to stand but Rybicki dives back in and keeps control.
Rybicki is controlling the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Foreman tries to keep at a distance but Rybicki has taken the fight into the clinch.
Foreman is trying to break the clinch but Rybicki has him pressed against the cage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Rybicki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Rybicki looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Foreman!
Foreman in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.

Foreman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rybicki on the ground.
Foreman is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Rybicki looking to control and managing it successfully.
Foreman takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rybicki with a couple of short strikes.
Rybicki trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Rybicki is working for a guillotine from mount but Foreman frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pawel Rybicki dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Rybicki throws a shot from downtown. Foreman moves away and avoids it.
A low kick from Foreman is predictable there

and Rybicki moves into the clinch.
Foreman wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rybicki has him pressed against the cage.

Rybicki escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rybicki fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Rybicki scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Jericho Foreman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Rybicki throws a series of punches but Foreman moves out of range.

and Rybicki counters with a shoot takedown. Foreman fights it but they end up in guard.
Rybicki sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rybicki decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Foreman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Foreman throws a lazy head kick
and Rybicki counters with a thumping low kick.

Rybicki drives through and clinches with Foreman against the cage.

Rybicki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rybicki throws a right hand that Foreman ducks under and follows up with a left that Foreman also avoids with ease.
Good exchange - Rybicki coming out on top.
Rybicki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Rybicki drives through and clinches with Foreman against the cage.
Foreman tries for a takedown but Rybicki manages to get underhooks.

Rybicki pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Rybicki takes the fight into the clinch.
Foreman is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rybicki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Foreman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Good shot there by Rybicki.
Foreman throws a leg kick which misses Rybicki's front leg but catches the back leg as Rybicki tries to avoid it.
Donk. Foreman catches Rybicki right on the button with a cross.

Rybicki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Pawel Rybicki has got the better of the ground game so far.
Foreman is not content to let Rybicki control the position.
Foreman wants to get back to his feet.
Rybicki advances nicely into full mount.

Rybicki lands a nice shot to the head.
Foreman is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Rybicki working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Foreman wants to get back to his feet.
Foreman is bucking up trying to escape but Rybicki cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rybicki postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Foreman looks a forlorn figure.

Foreman has left one of his arms exposed and Rybicki doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Foreman screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
