Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Toney Hyde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Albert Einstein!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Einstein misses with a left hand

and Hyde counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hyde.
Einstein looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Knees to the body from Hyde.
Hyde is pushing Einstein up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Einstein can't break the clinch.

Hyde breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Einstein looks for the body kick but Hyde saw that one coming.
Einstein tried to score with a low kick but Hyde checks it.

Hyde shoots in and gets a takedown into Einstein's guard.

Hyde stands up from Einstein's guard - Hyde perhaps looking for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hyde looking to score a takedown here. Einstein is defending well but Hyde drives through and ends up in Einstein's guard.
Hyde could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hyde postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Hyde decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Einstein, up you get!

Einstein gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hyde loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hyde keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Einstein's head.
Hyde knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Einstein on the ground.

Hyde gets to his feet. Einstein looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hyde has managed to clinch.
Hyde lands a body punch.

Hyde has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Einstein clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Hyde is landing with strikes from the back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hyde throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Einstein!

Hyde looking to break Einstein's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Einstein remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hyde will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Hyde connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Einstein to escape the position.

Hyde working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.

Einstein is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Hyde is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Einstein has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Hyde is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Einstein knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Einstein for a finish.
The referee is taking a good look at Einstein as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Hyde!

Oooh a big shot gets through from Hyde. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!

Hyde is persistently looking for the submission but Einstein is defending it well.

Hyde is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Einstein knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Einstein for a finish.
Einstein wants to get back to his feet.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Einstein is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hyde is controlling him.

Hyde stands and steps away. Einstein gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Einstein scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Hyde manages to mount him!

Hyde lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Einstein hang on?

Hyde lands a couple of good shots and Einstein has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Einstein trying to get back to his feet but Hyde is in full control for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hyde is working the ground and pound. Can Einstein escape?
Hyde gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Hyde lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Hyde.
Hyde lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.


Einstein is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Einstein is still in real trouble! Can Hyde finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Einstein is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hyde gets his way!
Hyde lands a shot to the body.

Hyde has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Toney Hyde overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hyde is raining down hard shots and and Einstein has had enough - he's tapped out due to the strikes!
