The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh slips a jab and a cross from Douglas.

Douglas shoots in and gets a takedown into Walsh's guard.
Walsh preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Douglas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walsh swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Walsh is adopting a defensive guard.
Walsh keeping moving, preventing Douglas from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Douglas working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Walsh's head.
Douglas tries to free his leg and advance position but Walsh is retaining full guard.
Douglas wants to control from the top but Walsh keeps moving.
Douglas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Walsh is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Walsh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Douglas on the ground.
