And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Octavio Saades!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saades throws a right hand that Kurma ducks under and follows up with a left that Kurma also avoids with ease.
Saades just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromKurma.
Kurma throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kurma pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Octavio Saades seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurma connects with a looping right hand.
Saades connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Allan Kurma has been cut.
Saades lands a glancing blow to the side of Kurma's head.
Saades throws a hook to the side of Kurma's head but Kurma sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
It looked like Kurma was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Kurma misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Saades throws the kick towards the body but Kurma avoids it.
Kurma rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saades moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kurma definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Saades fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kurma on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kurma is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Saades.
Kurma takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Saades blocks a head kick by Kurma.

Saades misses with a left hand
and Kurma counters with a one-two to the body.
Saades connects with a leg kick. Kurma looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Saades lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Saades has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Kurma walks into a straight right hand from Saades.

Kurma is rocked!

Allan Kurma's cut is getting worse.
Saades finds Kurma's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Kurma flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Saades lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Kurma will be OK.
